Kwai Tsing District, comprising and Tsing Yi, was part of the Yi, Tsing Chung and District, comprising Kwai Tsing Kwai Wan Tsuen Formed in 1985 after splitting from the Town. New Wan Tsuen District is best known for Tsing District due to rapid population growth, Kwai its container terminals and industrial townscape. Despite the district’s industrial dominance, a lot of green spaces can be found in the belts and country parks at the outskirts, in town neighbourhood parks. 葵青區包括葵涌及青衣，是荃灣新市鎮的一部分，後來由於人口激增， 於1985年脫離荃灣區成為葵青區。葵青區最為人熟識的為其貨櫃碼頭和 工業市鎮面貌。儘管該區的發展以工業為主，但在周邊的綠化帶、郊野 公園以至市公園和社區公園，均可發現不少綠化空間。

Built along the hillside, Central Kwai Chung Park was opened in 1986 and is one of the largest parks in Kwai Tsing District. Though located near the Tai Lin Pai Industrial Area, it is extensively vegetated with large trees and is a CENTRALCENTRALCHUNG PARK CHUNG PARK KWAI KWAI pleasant place for morning exercises or a walk.

原為一個徙置區，於1991年開始分三期重建，新 幼稚園 5 中央廣場 葵涌邨 Kindergarten Piazza 的公共房屋分別於1997年、2000年和2005年落成。房委會其後於葵 涌工廠大廈原址加建兩幢住宅，並將之納入葵涌邨，於2008年起入 幼兒園 伙。葵涌邨重建時保留了超過100棵大樹，還種植了160 000棵新植 Day Nursery 物，預留作綠化用途的地方達三成，俾能打造城中綠洲。

安老院舍 ESTATE ESTATE CHUNG CHUNG KWAI KWAI Residential care house for elderly 葵涌邨第五期 Kwai Chung Estate Phase 5 Formerly the site of a resettlement area, Kwai Chung Estate was redeveloped in three phases, with works of the new public housing 1 estates commenced in 1991 and completed in 1997, 2000 and 2005. The Housing Authority then added two more residential blocks, which were built on the former site of Kwai Chung Industrial Building, to the Kwai Chung Estate. The two new blocks were ready for occupation in 2008. During the redevelopment of Kwai Chung Estate, over 100 trees were preserved, 160,000 new plants were planted, and 30% of the site was set aside for greenery, so as to create an oasis in the city.

The Ornamental Lake

青衣海濱公園是香港其中一條海濱長廊，長廊起於東面近青衣碼頭一帶，沿 Tsing Yi Promenade is one of the waterfront promenades in Hong Kong. 東北岸伸延，途經青衣城及多個屋苑，止於青衣東北公園，全長約1.6公里。 It begins in the east near the Tsing Yi Pier and runs along the northeastern shore of the island, passing by and several residential developments till it ends at Tsing Yi Northeast Park.
