Index. • CHAPTER I INTRODUCTION A* The writer of this study has been in close touch with the Connecticut Valley High Schools for some years. Turing a discussion with the principal of one of these schools and Professor W.S.Welles of the Education Department at the Massachusetts State College, the fact was brought out that there never had been a comparative study made of the marks of the Connecticut Valley Schools as a group.
