New Board President Silverman Aims to Boost Alumni Involvement

She has mentored students since she graduated, helped recruit applicants and spoke on panels for the Office of Career Services. A member of the Alumni Association Board of Governors since 2001, she also served as its vice president and treasurer. Silverman is well-prepared for her next position with the group — president.

“My priorities for the coming year are to continue to emphasize programs to strengthen For New Chaplain, Loyola is the Loyola alumni community and to foster appreciation for our graduates,” says Silverman. That includes overseeing the planning of long- running events like the Grand Reunion and the Latest Stop on Journey of Service Bob Cooney Golf Tournament.
