Keys/Access to the property The plastic key fob opens the main entrance doors to the building (Marvell Court) and to the door to the 5th floor. Use the key to open the door to the flat. There is a key in the door to the balcony – you are very welcome to use the balcony but please don’t remove the key. To lock both the flat door and the balcony door, you need to lift up the handle and turn the key clockwise at the same time. Neither door locks automatically on shutting – must be manually locked. Please ensure you manually lock doors when leaving property and at night. PLEASE BE CAREFUL NOT TO LOSE THE KEYS OR LOCK THEM IN THE PROPERTY. Particular requests and information about the When having a shower or cooking turn on the ‘Fan Boost’ – the property switch for this is found in kitchen next to toaster. But remember to turn this off afterwards to save power and prolong the life of the fan. The fan is essentially silent so you won’t know it’s on – but it is! There is a heated towel dryer in the bathroom. To use this, there is a console outside of the bathroom door next to the light switch. Press the ‘eco’ button and it will be on a timer and switch itself off after a couple of hours.
