Head’s Lines Today Year 6 visited the Open Day at The Police College where they attended workshops and activities that promoted the vital and diverse role of policing across the county, from training the officers through to receiving and responding to emergency calls. It also highlighted how the police work with partners to deal with crime and disorder, protect the public from harm, and keep Kent safe. During the visit, pupils were able to meet officers, watch police teams in action and take part in activities and demonstrations. There was a large range of interactive displays that sought to engage the children around some of the key challenges they may face as they move into their next stage of development, involving online safety, road safety, alcohol and drug awareness.

Paragraph 3.23 specifies what must be included as a minimum in the report to the adjudicator and makes provision for the local authority to include any other issues.     Wye School Sixth Form Course Guide 2019/2020 1 Welcome to Wye Sixth Form In September 2018 we opened our (refurbished) doors to our first Sixth Form cohort and Wye School finally became what was always intended – a fully inclusive comprehensive school catering for students of all abilities in the 11-18 age group. In September 2019 we will welcome our second Year 12 cohort to join our founding year of sixth form students. We already offer a wide range of A’ level subjects at Wye, both through Wye school itself and through our partnership with another local United Learning school, Ashford School. This currently includes 15 A’ level subjects in addition to the respected AQA EPQ qualification. In this booklet you will find details of all the subjects that we are now considering as part of the Wye School Sixth Form curriculum for 2019 - 2021. Please read through the course content carefully and talk with the members of staff that will be teaching these. You will need to decide which courses that you would be interested in taking and which would lead you successfully through to the future and career that you aspire to. Licence no 2019-36060) On behalf of Istead & Ifield Harriers we are pleased to welcome you to the 36th running of this popular and successful 30km event. First staged in 1984 from Istead Rise, the NDR continues to go from strength to strength. Over many years in the Runners World magazine annual poll of the best organised races the NDR has been consistently rated amongst the top races of any distance held in the UK. In November 2012 it was described by the magazine as ‘one of the most iconic trail races in the UK and Europe’. For the sixth year running, we have received the BARR Gold Grading for race organisation. In 2016 we were very proud recipients of the BARR Bill Reynolds award for the most improved race in the UK. For the fourth year in succession this year’s race incorporates the British Masters trail championships. The 2019 NDR will again provide much needed financial support to various local charities. We pledge a minimum of 50% of any surplus made from operating the run to charities carefully selected by the Race Committee. Once again, there will be a Children’s Fun Run. This will consist of a 1km course wholly within the grounds of Cascades Leisure Centre. Medals and refreshments will be given to all children who finish. The start will be at 11.00am.
