Since 1992 IFALPES has organised French language stays for adults and school groups in Annecy. This package is a programme specially devised for young people coming to France for a fun and safe French study holiday in a calm and picturesque location, offering many different outdoor activities.

1 Welcome to ANNECY
Annecy, known as the Venice of the Alps, is situated at the foot of the alpine massifs, on the shores of one of Europe’s purest lakes.

2 Our Junior School
Our Junior school is located in a private French school that IFALPES uses exclusively for the summer.
The residential centre is situated in Sevrier, just 200m from the lake and 5km along the lake from Annecy town centre.
Students have everything they need to learn French in the best conditions and to make the most of their language stay with excellent facilities :
• 5 fully-equipped and spacious classrooms • An enclosed playground for exclusive IFALPES use, where students can safely relax or do recrea- tional activities with friends during break-times • A canteen where students have their meals together.

5 Accommodation
Student Residence On the Junior centre site
IFALPES junior students have the possibility to stay at the Student Residence in triple or 4-bed studios.
The studio has its own en-suite shower, toilet and washbasin, as well as bed, desk and wardrobe.
General facilities include a common room and study-area, a light and spacious patio with tables and chairs, table-tennis and table-football and a laundry.
IFALPES staff stay permanently in the residence, which means students receive excellent supervision and welfare, and a curfew is applicable to all students.

Meals Residential students : During the week, you will have all meals in the Course Centre and a cold packed lunch is provided by IFALPES for the Saturday excursion.
NB : It is not possible to accept students with special dietary requirements (gluten-free, lactose-free...). If in doubt, please ask.
6 Activity Programme and Excursions
Full programme of afternoon and evening activities, including beach sports and parties, bowling, cycling, paddle, roller-skating, photomania; all compulsory and fully supervised by qualified IFALPES staff.
One full-day excursion per week to local places of interest (Lyon / Geneva / Albertville).

Course details Summer Course : Sunday July 14 – Saturday August 10 2019 - Age: 11-16 years old
Course Fees include: language tuition, accommodation as chosen, full afternoon and evening activity and excursion programme.
No refunds will be made once the course has started.
French Course = 20 x 45-minute lessons per week. Maximum 15 students per class. Levels (Common European Framework) : A1, A2, B1, B2. One-to-one lessons are 45 minutes each.
Extra night’s accommodation: 60 € per night.
NB: Students arriving before the official start date of July 14 2019, or leaving after the official end date of August 10 2019 will automatically be charged an extra 100 € per night. There are no activities on July 14 (arrival day) nor on August 10 (departure day).
For groups, prices include a free Group Leader place per 15 paying students. transfers
