  • Infogroup Business Listing File
Infogroup Business Listing File Company location: Omaha, Nebraska Web address: www.infousa.com Description: Infogroup collects information on approximately 11 million private and public US companies. Individual businesses are located by address geocoding—not all will have an exact location. The Esri geocoder integrates an address-based approach with more than eighty-one million residential and commercial U.S. address records from the NAVTEQ Point Addressing database. This database maps street addresses to a physical location so each address is a fixed point and not an interpolation from an address range. The geocoder uses address locators in a cascading fallback approach to ensure a match for as many records as possible. The primary locator utilizes the NAVTEQ Point Addressing database. The secondary locator utilizes the NAVTEQ Street Address Range database. Records that did not match fall back to the geocode provided by Infogroup. Businesses can be retrieved by their Standard Industrial Classification Code (SIC) as well as by North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code and Location. The Infogroup Business File can be used for locating both competitors and marketing opportunities. This data is current as of July 2011. Fields: Note: Using the Identify a Business tool , click on a business in your map area to see these fields for an individual business. Fields marked in blue below are not visible in the business layer attribute table or exportable from Business Analyst. Company Name (Actual field name=CONAME) – The legal, incorporated business name. Example: ESRI, AT&T, IBM. Address – Physical address of location. The address field cannot be used for direct mailing purposes.

Of those surveyed, 67 of the restaurants (62%) used some type of expandable polystyrene (more commonly known as Styrofoam) container. Polystyrene foam is a petroleum based byproduct that is frequently used for food packaging purposes. This material is currently non-recyclable and non-biodegradable. Because of its inability to decompose, polystyrene foam waste is consuming an ever- increasing amount of space within landfill facilities. Moreover, polystyrene foam products are detrimental to the health, safety, and welfare of the general public, as well as to the ecosystem. 07/27/09 Page 2 Item #29 Plastic Bags In the same assessment mentioned previously, 108 restaurants were surveyed on their use of bags for to-go items.

By understanding the visits and journeys of millions of people in the real-world, we are able to provide restaurants and retailers with detailed competitive and consumer insights. Below is a description of the performance metrics measured in this report: Share of Visits Score - This score is a direct measurement of the percentage of all QSR Visits garnered by the speci- fied brand. Frequency Score - This score is a measurement of how many times the average customer visits the specified brand per month. A score of 1.0 means that guests visit a brand 1 time per month. Loyalty Score - This score measures customers’ commit- ment to a brand vs. the QSR category. In other words, if a customer visits QSR Brand [x], what percentage of that customer’s visits does Brand [x] account for vs. the rest of the QSR category. Brand Draw Score - This score is essentially a localized Share of Visits that helps you understand what percentage of QSR visits within 0.5 miles of a brand’s locations were to that specific brand.
