Why study Writing and Publishing at Benedictine? The Writing and Publishing program is designed to prepare you to pursue a career in the publishing industry. You will study theory, writing, print, literature and editing, while gaining the experience for today’s workforce. Our approach is rooted in the liberal arts tradition.

What careers are available with a degree in Writing and Publishing? At Benedictine, you receive each of the tools necessary for entering the writing and publishing field. Each of the professors and courses provided help you to achieve your goals, whether it be writing for a or a magazine or editing copy for an upcoming book or literary journal. Publications such as The Candor, DuPage Valley Review, BenedictInk and Quantum Pulp are all part of a curriculum designed by both students and professors to create a hands-on learning environment.
