This Copywriting & Publishing Executive position will report into our Marketing Content Manager and will be based at our HQ in Takapuna, Auckland. Internally the Role Works With: • Marketing team • Sales team • Product Development • Externally the Role Works With: • External agencies & copywriters Job Overview: This role is chartered with writing and publishing marketing content to build the Unleashed brand, assist in generating leads, and maximise conversion rates and sales demand among prospects and within the customer base. Key focus areas: Writing and managing copy for Unleashed Manage Develop & assets including website pages, digital creation of manage copy for blogs & advertising, video scripts, social media Unleashed continuous marketing assets posts, blogs, eBooks, emails, mobile press releases applications and supporting materials as needed. Implement Ensure all copywriting Unleashed actions from Managing the blog publishing process content is kept quarterly asset up to date (including external copywriters) to ensure a audit constant flow of blog content. Editing content to improve readability, relevance and performance. Uploading and publishing content via the CMS. Managing the copywriting process for press releases, including internal approvals. Producing creative copy for multiple campaigns (e.g. targeting industry segments) and marketing initiatives across multiple media types. Leveraging images, infographics, icons and symbols and using them, along with other visual components, to create copy with a coherent communications message. Ensuring Unleashed information on public and partner websites (Wikipedia, Capterra, Xero etc) is kept up to date. Managing the copywriting for relevant external documents including submissions to industry groups and awards. Maintaining a high level of professionalism in all written and verbal communications. Remaining current on industry trends and technology. Outcomes that will be achieved Success in this role would see the following outcomes: • Agreed deadlines are met – on brand, in full and on time • Minimum pipeline of 1-2 content pieces a day is met – across blogs, eBooks, videos & infographics • Unleashed online assets are kept up to date with correct copy • Copy & content actions from quarterly website audit are implemented & web metrics are optimized and improved • Number of press releases (minimum 1 per month) & coverage in key segment and market publications are maintained What will support your success We have identified the likely experience, skills and knowledge that will support your success in the role. Experience & Qualifications: • Tertiary qualification in marketing, communications or similar • Previous writing experience preferred – ideally business writing Skills, Knowledge & Attributes: • Well organized, with a high attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure • Resourceful & adaptable team player • Self - motivated & accountable You will enjoy working in a fast paced, agile environment and are prepared to work both core hours and irregular hours when required to meet objectives and goals.
