With a population approaching 600, it is a rural community that enjoys a largely unspoilt environment. For a parish of our size we enjoy good facilities. These include a Parish Church, a Primary School, a Village Hall with a part-time Post Office and sports facilities including football and cricket pitches and two hard tennis courts. In 2005, a Parish Plan was adopted, copies of which can be found on the village website at www.priorsmarston.org and in autumn 2017 it was agreed that it needed to be updated. Following a well-attended Parish meeting, a detailed Parish Survey was conducted early in 2018 and the full report of the survey is available on the village website. The results of the survey form the backbone of this plan and a summary of actions can be found at the back of this document.
