Fill out your enrollment form. • List your primary care provider (PCP), your spouse’s and your children’s PCPs as well. • Make sure your PCP is in your plan network by using Fallon’s online “Find a doctor” tool. • Once you’ve picked a PCP, call Customer Service so we can enter your PCP into our system. • Or, go to myFallon.org, log into our secure member portal and click on the link to change your PCP. 2. Check out our online prescription drug list. • Also called a “formulary”, our online drug list will help you determine if your prescriptions are covered, what tier they are in, or if they require prior authorization from Fallon. • Save money by using our mail-order pharmacy program. 3. Call us if you already have a doctor’s appointment scheduled. • We’ll help make sure your doctor is in your plan network and that the medical services you need are covered under your plan. Don’t forget: Tell your providers your health insurance has changed, and give them your new insurance information. This will help you avoid billing problems. It’s difficult to believe that another year has passed. As we enter 2015, we look back at one of the most remarkable years in the history of Boston MedFlight; a year that included not only our busiest transport month, but most importantly included vital clinical equipment and patient care additions to our critical care capabilities. The coming year will mark the 30th anniversary of Boston MedFlight’s founding. It is amazing to consider how we have changed over the past three decades. Not only have the faces changed, but the technological advances we have seen are nothing short of astounding. One factor has remained constant, however, and that is our commitment to outstanding patient care and safety. These have been, and will continue to be our number one priorities for the next 30 years and beyond. Suzanne K. Wedel, MD Chief Executive Officer/Medical Director 2014...Our busiest year ever! Demand for Boston MedFlight’s services continued to grow during our 2014 fiscal year (October 1, 2013 to September 30, 2014). We completed 3,131 transports--the busiest year in the history of our organization. Additionally, August of 2014 was the busiest month in our history with 341 transports over 31 days. A SECOND EC145 ADDED TO FLEET Our second new Eurocopter EC-145 arrived in June Boston MedFlight is excited to announce the addition of a new EC145 helicopter to our advanced fleet. This is the second Airbus EC145 that Metro Aviation has built for us.

    2017 Honos Civicus Inductees Tufts University School of Medicine Public Health and Professional Degree Programs Tufts University School of Dental Medicine Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy The Honos Civicus Society, an initiative of the Tisch College of Civic Life, selects and publicly recognizes graduating students from all Tufts schools who engaged in meaningful service and leadership activities or otherwise strengthened civic life, on campus and beyond, during their time at Tufts. Each year, honorees from the schools of medicine, dental medicine, and nutrition come together on the Boston campus for a joint induction ceremony in which we celebrate their accomplishments and encourage them to strengthen their commitments to civic life within the health professions. 2017 Honos Civicus Inductees Tufts University School of Medicine Nathan J. Bankoff Nathan has focused on improving quality of life for adolescents and young adults affected by cancer. He has been an active member of Kids in Chemotherapy and their Students (KICS), a program that pairs medical students with pediatric patients undergoing cancer treatment at the Floating Hospital. He has also been a Senior Board Member in the Reid R. Sacco Adolescent & Young Adult (AYA) Cancer Alliance for ten years. The AYA Cancer Alliance is a foundation based in Nathan’s hometown, which raises funds and awareness for the treatment of cancers affecting the AYA population. Throughout medical school, he has served as a liaison between the foundation and the Reid R. Sacco AYA Program for Cancers & Blood Diseases at Tufts Medical Center, helping to connect community fundraising efforts to tangible clinical and educational outcomes.
