Emerson College ,

epsomsn A Journey’s End ... A Journey’s Beginning

Time . . . Time to come with us and find Youth and Time are seasons of the mind

We are summer in our spirit

Fall in our smile

Winter in our yesterdays

And Spring in our possibilities . . . We are now And Youth and Time are only Seasons of the mind.

DIED. . . March 21, 1968 in the Emerson Colleg<

Union . . .

A person between the ages of 1 8 and 24 who has attended classes at a small Back Bay

. College. A person who listened, but did

not hear . . . Heard, but did not think . . .

Thought, but did not act . . .

He has gone on . . . never to return.

Student BORN . . . 4:00 PM in the Emerson College

Union . . . The Emerson College Student Alive with enthusiasm Eager to be involved Proud of his school He has had a mind expanding experience without the use of drugs. He has fought for PRINCIPLES. 9 As counselor

and as friend . . . She has Spoken and Listened, Listened and Heard, Heard and Understood

And if she reached us only for one brief moment . . ,

Helped us through one small tragedy . . .

Laughed or cried with us for one dark afternoon . . .

We grew just a little wiser, just a little older, just a little better.

For this and much more, we, the Class of nineteen hundred and sixty-nine, dedicate our Emersonian

to MRS. JEAN JACOBSON

LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT

I, GLENN ALTERMAN, do hereby leave the Emerson family just what I came in with; a half smile, just a bit of determination, and a torn suitcase that has never really been anywhere.

I, HARLAN R. BAKER, do hereby leave my standard stage diction to the Speech Department, and my old Necco Wafer candy wrappers to Ceci Hart, Ollie Boston, and Mary Shortkroff.

1. KENNETH BEAUCHENE, do hereby leave the ideas extraneous, and the thoughts not written down . . .

I. PAUL R. BECK, do hereby leave the official Emerson College white elephant, an RCA TK-10 named "Bertha" on the second floor of 1 30 Beacon Street.

I, LARRY BLANK, do hereby leave WERS all its master keys, as well as all the master keys to the Student Union which everyone has been looking for, for the past year. Duplicates have been made.

1. JOE BOREN, do hereby leave the opportunity for all Emersonians to study under Dr. Zacharis,

Mr. Littlefield, and Mr. Marderosian; the happiness I have found in Alpha Pi Theta to all my Brothers; self-confidence to my Brother Hootie because he has all the qualities of a great man; and

I take the Theta Queen.

1. JANE ELLEN BRONSTE1N, do hereby leave as little as possible at Emerson; I want to take it with me.

I. RANDOLPH W. BROOKSBANK, do hereby leave to Bruce Behan two more years of a glorious life at Mrs. Desmond's Rest Home, "The Switchboard", and to the Brothers of Phi Alpha Tau many thanks for making my last two years at Emerson the best ever.

1. SHARON BROWN, do hereby leave to President Richard Chapin, the blueprint for the new gymnasium, including the plans for the revolving sauna bath on the top; to William Corbett, Jay

Gatsby's silver shirt with a gold tie and a pink suit.

1. WILL CASE, do hereby leave my curve ball to Dickie Pleasants, my hair to Pete Dierks and Coleman C. Bender, and my old Little Richard Albums to Mr. Pettit.

I, GAIL CASWELL, do hereby leave my widely varying “s” echoing wildly through the halls of the Speech Clinic in hopes that it may someday be caught and tamed; also to “100", a kitten, with w ishes for many warm and furry nights.

1. MARCY ELLEN COHEN, do hereby leave to Kris Street, because of her loyalty and devotion during a time of need, the right to counsel me in all my future problems (Good Luck Kris!) and one tube of Ultrabrite toothpaste to maintain that everlasting smile.

1, ALAN I. COOPER, do hereby leave the strong influence of Theta and Kappa; to Ken Rosenbaum, the love and brotherhood passed down to me from Bloce; a stack of Junior Prom pictures; an unabridged edition of "How 1 Lost an Election"; and all my love and thanks to Donna, Marlene and Nancy.

I. MAYNARD CROSSMAN, do hereby leave, my morality to Pete Dierks, my jump shots to Dave Bornstein, six beautiful Frosh to Mr. Buck, a Ph.D. in the art of pocket billiards to Joseph Caputa, and most of all 20 clean tables to Emma.

I. BONNIE CYPEN, do hereby leave Mrs. Roget, a book of her own; Robin, “Eddie My Love”;

Toby, shorter skirts; Marsha I,., a new pair of legs; Vicki, happiness; Marcia W., Dr. Bruce;

Bonnie. Ceil, and all the sisters of KTX memories of Mrs. Beasley, and much happiness and success in the future.

84 I, BRUCE DEAN, do hereby leave the guides on Copley guided tourbuses, an abstract about

Emerson College that tells it like it really is.

I, STAN DEUTSCH, do hereby leave my dear FHBGH to RDGRTNY T. FERNDOCK, for the purpose of BDRLBJ and FLEMBDRELGH, all his live-long ZARBUP. Thanks again RDGRTNY!

1, DEBRA DOUDEN, do hereby leave a Phi Alpha Tau pin to any Zeta who wants it.

I, GEORGE ELLARD, do hereby leave WERS to the next victim, with best wishes, good intentions, innumerable failures, and a semester’s supply of spare records to break or throw onto Storrow Drive, as the occasion merits, and last but not least my slightly used bottle of Pepto Bismol.
