Knott's Berry Farm Boysenberry Festival

Knott's Boysenberry Festival will be held March 19-April 3 featuring a variety of one-of-a-kind boysenberry inspired dishes, drinks and more, plus live entertainment and fun for the whole family! Celebrate the historic boysenberry during this 16 day food festival.

The boysenberry – a cross between a blackberry, raspberry, and loganberry – was created by Walter Knott and Rudolph Boysen. The large, purple, juicy berry is showcased in unimaginable ways with an amazing array of food, wine and beer for 16 days straight.

Here are some “must try” foods: fried alligator (yes, alligator!), lightly breaded and crisp and served with boysenberry aioli. Try the fish and chips sandwich with boysenberry tartar sauce. The combo of flaky breaded fish and crispy potato chips is just perfect. The chicken and sausage sandwich is stuffed into a fresh baked boysenberry bun with sautéed veggies and topped off with a boysenberry relish. Try the boysenberry wine which is not too sweet. The boysenberry beer is a blend of ACE berry cider and boysenberry Belgium beer – a refreshing 50/50 blend. Try corn on the cob with boysenberry butter. The fried cheese curds feature house made boysenberry ketchup that is both tangy and sweet. And . . . the best for last . . .the fun bun, a cinnamon bun dipped in funnel cake batter, deep fried, then iced with boysenberry cream cheese – the perfect ending to your day at the Boysenberry Festival!
