The 2015-16 athletics season proved once again that this is a great time to be a SUNY Maritime Privateer!

Through the hard work and dedication of our coaches, staff and administrators all working together toward our shared mission of - developing exceptional leaders to excel in life through competitive sports. We as a department have accomplished great success in leading those efforts in the classroom, in the community, and on the field of competition throughout this past year.

This report serves as a snapshot from the past 12 months, a period of time that will be remembered as another memorable athletics campaign. This report provides a platform for each of our areas to reflect on this past year as we head into the future.

Celebrating success is something we have done before and it is something we will continue to do as we continue to strive for excellence.

This past year, Maritime Athletics had its highest-ever finish for the Presidents Cup Trophy, coming in fifth place of the 11 full-time members of the league. Spearheaded by two Conference Championship Men’s Cross Country and Men’s Swimming, as well as postseason qualification for Men’s Soccer, Women’s Volleyball and Baseball, our programs continue to flourish on the field, in the pool, and on the court.

Our success is a team effort. It involves our student-athletes, coaches, trainers, parents, donors, season ticketholders, fans and support from college administration.

Thank you for making a difference helping us reach our goals!

We look forward to celebrating more successes with you as we take on the challenges of another upcoming season.

GO PRIVATEERS!
