EITC Donations Help Students Many students who were once confined to wheel chairs are now getting the opportunity to safely move to an upright position thanks to new equipment purchased with funds from the Educational Improvement Tax Credit program. Qualifying businesses can make a contribution to this fund and receive a reduction in Donor Advised & Donor their Pennsylvania tax rate. Since the Barber National Institute became approved for this program in 2004, Designated Funds more than $216,966 has been donated through the EITC program to purchase a variety of equipment and supplies for students with multiple handicaps in the Ayco Charitable Foundation Elizabeth Lee Black School. The new EasyStand Evolv Youth Stander purchased this The Springer Family Fund year allows therapists to gradually raise students from sitting to an upright standing position. Other equipment purchased through the EITC program includes a variety of devices to enable communication for non-verbal students.
