And although our Wmission of promoting peace and justice in the Catholic tradition remains the same, the ways in which we pursue our mission continue to expand. Each year La Roche responds to the needs of local, regional and global communities through new academic programming and service-learning endeavors. In this issue of Connected, you will read about our latest efforts to provide opportunities for students to promote their skills, confidence and awareness to become responsible, global citizens. In the fall we announced our Entry Level Master of Science in Nursing Program, Pennsylvania’s first prelicensure master’s program in nursing. The new program not only addresses an ever-growing need for nurses in today’s health care industry, but presents new career opportunities to those who hold a bachelor’s degree in any field. We also reached a new milestone in how we serve our local communities.
