J.S. finished his career playing in Europe, where he was selected as the DEL Goalie of the Year in 2010. 5 SPORTS PERFORMANCE JASON JEROME Director, Penguins Performance Training Originally from Aurora, IL, Jason earned his Master’s Degree in Sports Medicine from the University of Miami in 2006. Since 2010, Jason has served as the Chief Operating Officer and Director of Athletic Development for IMPACT PERFORMANCE, founded in Boca Raton, FL. That opportunity provided Jason access to train 1000’s of athletes, be an Athletic Trainer for multiple professional sports organizations, and run the NHL Combine for four years. Early in Jason’s career, he was employed by the University of Miami and responsible for rehabilitating Olympic, professional, and collegiate athletes from various sports including football, track and field, and volleyball. A major highlight of Jason’s time at the “U” was serving as a Core Training specialist for the track and field program as well as working with numerous alumni from the NFL and MLB.     Joshua Morrow, originally from New Castle, PA graduated from California University of Pennsylvania in December 2013 with a bachelor’s degree in Sports Management. While attending Cal U Josh was a member of the Sports Management club, and also was a Supervisor working under the direction of Miss Tardd in the Athletic Office. Josh worked various sporting events on and off campus while attending Cal U. Josh also volunteered with the Pittsburgh Marathon, and completed his internship working numerous positions with the Pittsburgh Passion women’s football team. After graduation Josh worked as the Stadium Operations Intern for the Richmond Flying Squirrels Baseball team (San Francisco Giants Double A team). Once his internship ended he acquired a job with IMG Learfield Ticket Solutions at their Pennsylvania State University Property. Over that time Josh was promoted to an Account Executive while producing over $600,000 in total revenue over a five month period. In the fall of 2015 Josh became the Assistant Equipment Manager for the University at Albany working primarily with the Football, Men’s Lacrosse, Women’s Basketball, and Baseball programs. Josh was in charge of design, ordering, budget tracking, and distribution of equipment and apparel for those programs. During this time Josh became certified under the Athletic Equipment Managers Association (AEMA). During the summer of 2017 Josh was promoted to the Assistant Athletic Director for Olympic Sports, and still holds that position today. One of Josh’s fondest accomplishments while working this position was being involved with the Men’s Lacrosse Final Four run during the summer of 2018.

Alex Woken and Patti Marshall of the University of Minnesota, Presley Norby and Maddie Rowe of the University of Wisconsin and Haley Mack of Bemidji State University were selected by the Minnesota Whitecaps in this year’s draft. The first and second rounds aired on April 28 while the final three rounds were concluded on April 29. Woken earned the first nod of the former WCHA skaters. The Fargo, N.D., native heard her name called in the first round as the Minnesota Whitecaps claimed the 2019-20 WCHA Student-Athlete of the Year with the fifth-overall pick. Marshall followed her former teammate when the Whitecaps selected her in the second round with the 11th-overall pick. Norby joins Woken and Marshall on the Whitecaps roster after Minnesota selected the Wisconsin forward in the third round with the 17th-overall pick. Bemidji State became the third university to see one of their players selected in this year’s draft as Mack went to the Whitecaps with 23rd-overall pick.
