  • About the Artists
Contact: Michael Caprio, 702-658-6691 [email protected] Golden Slumbers is committed to creating projects that bring families together ABOUT THE ARTISTS MICHAEL MCDONALD This five-time Grammy winner is one of the most unmistakable voices in music, singing hits for three decades. His husky soulful baritone debuted 30 years ago, famously revitalizing the Doobie Brothers with "Takin' it to the Streets," "What a Fool Believes," and "Minute by Minute”. He went onto a distinguished solo career including duets with such R&B greats as James Ingram and Patti Labelle. Michael released the Grammy nominated Motown in 2003, selling over 1.3 million copies, followed by Motown 2, released in October 2004. PHIL COLLINS One of the music industry’s rock legends, Collins played drums, sang, wrote and arranged songs, played sessions, and helped Genesis become one of the leading lights in the Progressive rock field. After numerous solo hits and Platinum-selling albums, Walt Disney studios asked him in to compose the songs to their animated feature "Tarzan," and the sin- gle, "You'll be in my Heart," was a major hit which earned him the prestigious Academy, Grammy and Golden Globe Awards. He is currently working on three new Disney projects. With a new album in the pipeline, and a continued interest in all aspects of his past, Phil Collins has proved that there is no substitute for talent. SMOKEY ROBINSON Entering his fourth decade as a singer, songwriter and producer, this velvet-voiced crooner began his career as a founding Motown executive, and frontman for the Miracles.

United States Attorney’s Office Northern District of Indiana Volume 2, Issue 03 Date: 03.02.06 INDIANA STATE East Chicago Man Charged with Two Murders 02/09/2006 Hammond, IN | Sealed indictments were opened Wednesday with the arrest of an East Chicago man charged in a three-year-old Hessville double homicide. Jesse R. Ramirez, 26, of 5031 Reading Ave., is in Lake County Jail without bond. He was charged with two counts of murder in the shooting deaths of Jose "Joey" Escobedo Jr., 28, and Quinton Griffith, 20, outside the former Brothers Two tavern early Sept. 6, 2002. Charges were filed Jan. 11, but the affidavits were sealed to avoid alerting Ramirez, who has lived in several parts of the country since the shootings of the Hammond men near the corner of Kennedy Avenue and 165th Street in Hammond. "It was a real regional effort," said Detective Sgt. Wendy Jo Gardner. "The suspect has family in several states and Mexico." Police in Louisiana -- where Ramirez was recently working -- and Texas, Tennessee, Chicago and the U.S. Border Patrol were all looking for him, said Sgt. A. Llanes, Gardner's partner. With Capt. Michael Solan, the pair has worked on the case since February 2004.

It has been designed with particular attention to the requirements of government agencies, state tax officials, international trade organizations, chambers of commerce, and judicial authorities who have a continuing need for handy access to this type of information. Trade with other regions of the world has become an increasingly vital element in the economy of the United States. The machinery of this essential commerce is complicated by numerous restrictions, license requirements, quotas, and other measures adopted by the individual countries. Since the regulations affecting both trade and travel are the particular province of the consular service of the nations involved, reliable information as to entrance requirements, consignment of goods, details of transshipment, and, in many instances, suggestions as to consumer needs and preferences may be obtained at the foreign consular offices throughout the United States.
