Nottingham has 42 sports and leisure centres across the county including the Nottingham Tennis Centre, National Water Sports Centre, National Ice Centre and Nottingham Racecourse. Nottingham is also home to two famous football teams, the spiritual home of the late Brian Clough – Nottingham Forest (European Cup winners 1979, 1980) and the oldest surviving professional football club in the world – Notts County Football Club. Nottingham also has a world-famous cricket ground – Trent Bridge. On top of all of that goodness, Nottingham Trent University boasts over 50 sports clubs! That takes some getting through. You really are spoilt for choice; you’ve got popular superclubs like Oceana and Forum, alongside Coco Tang and Saltwater where you can go for some of the best cocktails around. And at NTU, we’ve got one of the best Students’ Union buildings in the country. Whatever scene you’re into you’ll find it in Nottingham . Nottingham’s famous October Goose Fair 10 11 Did you know?
