Driving/Parking Directions for LKSC (Li Ka Shing Center for Learning and Knowledge) Highway 280 North or South • Take the Sand Hill Road exit, head east • Turn right on Stock Farm Road • Turn left on Campus Drive • Turn right on Roth Way • Make first left into parking structure • Follow directions for “All” below From Bayshore US Highway 101 North or South • Take the Embarcadero Road/West exit • Follow Embarcadero Road for about two miles • Cross El Camino Real, after which the road becomes Galvez St. • Turn right at Arboretum Road Permit A • Turn left on Palm Drive Parking • Take 3rd left onto Roth Way • Make first left into parking structure • Follow directions for “All” below All • The purple ‘A' parking permit included in your APLS Welcome Packet is valid only for one-day use in ‘A’ spot. To avoid a parking violation, you MUST scratch off the appropriate month/date/year and hang from rearview mirror, facing out. Turn left here Hotel Accommodations The Westin Palo Alto and Sheraton Palo Alto Hotels are both located approximately 1.5 miles away from the Li Ka Shing Center for Learning and Knowledge (LKSC). Please contact the hotel of your choice directly to secure a reservation. The Westin Palo Alto (650) 321-4422, Sheraton Palo Alto (650) 328-2800. The Marguerite, Stanford’s free shuttle service, has a bus stop a short walking distance from either hotel location that will conveniently transport you to LKSC. Visiting the Stanford Campus The Stanford campus, one of the most beautiful of all universities, is a great place to visit! We are located in Palo Alto, less than an hour south of San Francisco, in the heart of Silicon Valley. During and after the course there will be ample opportunity to enjoy the many activities available on campus and in the surrounding area. Optional post-conference activities include a walking architectural tour of the Stanford campus; docent-led tour of the Stanford Cantor Museum; a visit to the Computer History Museum.
