Thursday, September 7th Anyone interested in going Deep Sea Fishing on Thursday please Contact Dave at [email protected] or call/text: 717-609-5482 Friday, September 8th 8 – 10 am - Breakfast Business meeting in Riverwalk Room, first floor/beside hotel restaurant American Breakfast Buffet: White & Wheat Bread, Fresh Fruit Bowl, Scrambled Eggs, Bacon and Breakfast Potatoes, Fresh Squeezed Orange juice, Starbucks Freshly Brewed Regular & Decaf Coffee & Tazo Teas 10:30 am (departure time) - Bus transportation from hotel on Venture Tours 55 passenger bus to drop (be at bus 10:15 am) off and pick up right in front of Nauticus/Victory Rover site which is right beside each other. 11 – 1 pm - Victory Rover Boat Tour including lunch on board. While cruising the smooth waters of the Elizabeth River you will tour one of the world’s busiest sea ports including the world’s largest naval base, home of Aircraft Carriers and more. 1 – 5 pm - Nauticus, Battleship Wisconsin, & Hampton Roads Naval Museum. Nauticus is an exciting interactive science and technology center that explores the naval, economic, and nautical power of the sea. Home of the Battleship Wisconsin, Nauticus feature Battleship Wisconsin related exhibits, hands-on exhibits, national-caliber traveling exhibits, HD films on a giant screen, sharks, and the Hampton Roads Naval Museum, **Tip – If you have a few minutes, check out the Armed Forces Memorial at the corner of the Town Point Park (park beside the Nauticus) or the Lone Sailor Memorial along the street in Town Point Park. 7 - 9 pm - Girls Night at Mermaid Factory, paint standard size mermaid or dolphins which includes glitter & paint, complimentary wine offered, larger mermaid/dolphin or extra embellishments cost extra. Bring your own snacks and non-alcohol beverages. Transportation to this event to be determined based on interest. Saturday, September 9th 9 am (departure time) – Guided Bus Tour on 55 passenger bus. Guide will be with our group all day giving (be at bus at 8:45 am) us a driving tour of Virginia Beach and Norfolk, including a stop at the Cape Henry Lighthouse (oldest lighthouse authorized by US Gov’t, built 1792) which you will have time to walk the 191 steps to the top of the lighthouse to enjoy the view or shop in their gift shop. Please make sure to have your photo ID since we will be going onto Fort Story military base to visit the lighthouse. 10 am Guided tour of Military Aviation Museum in Virginia Beach, Virginia, which is home to one of the world's largest collections of warbirds in flying condition. 12 noon to 2 pm - Time on your own at Virginia Beach boardwalk for lunch on your own or shopping 3 - 4:30 am - The MacArthur Memorial Museum is a museum and research center dedicated to preserving and presenting the story of the life of General of the Army Douglas MacArthur. The Memorial also pays tribute to the millions of men and women who served with General MacArthur in World War I, World War II, and the Korean War. 4:30 - 5 pm - Arrive back at Hotel 7:30 – 10:30 pm - Annual Reunion Dinner at Riverwalk Room at Sheraton Norfolk Waterside Hotel with Cash Bar and DJ entertainment and dancing Plated Dinner Banquet: Mixed Greens Salad with Tomatoes, Cucumbers and Assorted Dressings **Choice of one Entrée - Pesto Chicken Roasted Airline Chicken Breast with a Basil Pesto Cream Sauce, or Pan Seared Salmon Fillet with a Creamy Dill Sauce or Ginger Soy Glaze, or Roast Sliced Sirloin of Beef with a Peppercorn Cognac Cream Sauce. **All Entrée’s Include Chef’s Selection of Starch and Fresh Seasonal Vegetable, Warm Rolls and Butter and Chef’s Selection of Dessert, Starbucks Freshly Brewed Regular & Decaffeinated Coffee and Tazo Teas. .
