Crimes of note:
10/02/21 – Theft from motor vehicle, A2, Harbledown – lorry has been parked along the A2 overnight, the
driver has woken to find 230 litres of fuel has been stolen
15/02/21 – Theft of motor vehicle – Richdore Road, Waltham – vehicle had broken down and was left
parked on Richdore Road, when owner went back to collect the vehicle it was no longer there
23/02/21 – Theft from motor vehicle, Lefranc Gardens, Harbledown – catalytic converter has been stolen
from a car by an unknown suspect
22/02/21 – Bilking, Harbledown Service Station, Upper Harbledown – vehicle has been filled with £78
worth of fuel, the suspect has then advised that he had no means to pay for it and has not returned to pay
28/02/21 – Burglary, Garlinge Green Road, Petham – a wood cabin has been broken into and a quad bike,
generator, dirt bike and trailer has been stolen
There have been no crimes of note reported from Upper Hardres, Lower Hardres, Nackington or
Chartham
Anti-social behaviour and other incidents of note:
05/02/21 – Bobbin Lodge Hill, Chartham – suspicious male knocking on doors trying to sell generators, also seen in Chartham Hatch area
17/02/21 – Waltham Road, Waltham – burnt out vehicle located on farmer’s field
19/02/21 – Duckpit Road, Petham – three quad bikes were seen driving along the road in the evening, riders were shining lights into the trees

Parish Council monthly update
21/02/21 – Cockering Road, Chartham – two off road bikes were seen to be riding on farmland
25/02/21 – The Green, Chartham – large group of youths playing football on the playing field, Police attended and the group was dispersed
25/02/21 – Church Hill, Harbledown – off road bike seen riding on field in this location
26/02/21 – Beech Avenue, Chartham – a stolen motorbike was located by a patrol after the rider made off from Police, bike was recovered by Police
Items of good work:
Regular rural patrols Speed checks conducted on A28 by Chartham Cemetry on 23/02/21 Speed checks conducted along Nackington Road on 24/02/21 by SC Warren, four vehicles were stopped and given words of advice about their speed
