Trains go at least every 15 minutes. You must change trains in Duivendrecht. It is also possible to travel by train between Schiphol and RAI station and take subway 51 between RAI station and Amstel station. If you need to travel between Casa 400 and the airport at night or early in the morning, you can take bus 356 between the Amstel station and the Central station. At this time, direct trains go once an hour between the Central station and the airport until about 4 o’ clock. The total journey takes 20-25 minutes during daytime, and about 55 minutes with the night connection. Map of Amsterdam. The red flag shows the location of the Casa 400 hotel near the Amstel station. 2 Traveling between Schiphol airport and the Bastion hotel in Bussum The Bastion hotel is located near train station Bussum-Zuid. Below you will find an overview of the departure times of the direct trains. Other connections are also possible, but these require you to change trains in Weesp. If you need to travel between the airport and Bussum-Zuid at night, it is best you carefully plan your journey in advance because of limited public transportation. Below you will find an overview of the departure times of direct trains between Naarden-Bussum and the airport. From Schiphol to Twice an hour at – 1 or 3 Weekdays: 5:40 - Naarden-Bussum 10 and –40 past. 0:10 Saturdays: 6:40 - 0:10 Sundays: 7:10 - 0:10 4 Traveling between Casa 400 (Amstel station) and the Simon Stevinweg (Naarden-Bussum station). The Simon Stevinweg is located at a ten minute walking distance from the Naarden-Bussum station. There is no direct connection between the Amstel Station and the Naarden-Bussum station. Coming from the Amstel station, it is best to take the subway (51, 53 or 54) to the Central station and take the direct train to Naarden-Bussum from there. Get off at Duivendrecht and take the all station train coming from Schiphol (stoptrein) from there to Naarden-Bussum station (direction Hilversum/Utrecht) – see page 4. As you can see on the map, Amsterdam and Bussum are located close to each other. Both train journeys take approximately 20 minutes. 5 Traveling between the Bastion Hotel (Bussum-Zuid) and the Casa 400 (Amstel station) There is an indirect connection between the Amstel station and the Bussum-Zuid station. The journey consists of a train and a subway part. Between Amstel station and Duivendrecht station you can travel with subway number 54, which goes every 10-15 minutes (see pages 7-8 for more information on the subway system). Between Duivendrecht and Amstel station, you can travel by train. below you will find an overview of the departure times of the direct trains. Subways ride approximately between 6:30 (weekdays) /6:50 (Saturdays) /7:50 (Sundays) in the morning and 0:50 at night. Tickets can be purchased in several places such as subway stations, train stations and large supermarkets.
