It should be noted, however, that these descriptors are only valid in so far as characterizing the inventoried material. Even so this classification may prove useful for distinguishing those contexts in which there was a substantial amount of material from a narrow date range contrasted to those contexts where a wide range of material was available and sufficiently attractive for selection. houseblock i House I-1 All rooms assigned to this house were excavated only into the late Hellenistic fills.
