HAVRE DES PAS IMPROVEMENT GROUP MEETINGS TO RE-START After a prolonged gap due to the pandemic, the monthly meetings of residents and business owners in the Havre des Pas area are set to start again at their usual regular time of 6pm on the first Thursday of each month, beginning on 1st October. The Parish is enormously grateful to the Ommaroo Hotel for making its downstairs bar area available for these meetings, which allow anyone with an interest in the future of this important part of the Parish to share their views and to quiz our officials from the Parish and the . Via Aeterna is best known as the classical music festival of the Mont-Saint- Michel Bay. Ensembles whose music traces the history of the place they will perform in, from the Middle Ages to the present day, will come from all over the world for this event. It will take place from the 1st to the 11th of October, starting in the Granville area from 1st to 4th October, then around Avranches from 8th to 11th October, and will end on Sunday 11th October with a musical apotheosis in the exceptional setting of the abbey of Mont-Saint-Michel, which opens its doors to the festival for a full day of music. The 3rd edition of the World Forum Normandy for Peace will be held in the Abbaye-aux-Dames in Caen on 1st and 2nd October. International speakers will discuss environment, education and new technologies on the theme ‘Preventing War: Responding to new threats’.
