Information on how to enter & prizes form part of these terms and conditions. Any entry not complying with terms and conditions is invalid. 3. Entry is open to Community based and sporting based non for profit groups in the Bega Valley Shire & Eurobodalla Shire in the state of NSW, Australia who are part of the community group committee and who have a valid email address (“Eligible Entrant”). 4. Employee’s of the Promoter, the Promoters associated companies, the Promoters agencies associated with this competition and their immediate families are ineligible to enter to enter. TH 5. Registration for the promotion commence at 6am on Monday the 11 ​ of May 2019 and ​ registrations close on Friday May 17, 2019,@11:59pm. 6. To register candidates are required to register online, providing details of your non for profit sporting, volunteer or social group, you must include the name and phone number of the president of your club/group for verification that the nomination is in fact for a community based club or group, if the promoter cannot verify the nomination will be void. 7. Starting 6am Monday May 20, 2019 the promotion will go in to the voting stage where all registrations will be put on the websites powerfmbegabay.com.au and 2ec.com.au, in 4 different categories. Sporting groups Category 1 - 1 to 50 members. Category 2 - 51 plus members. Volunteer/Social groups Category 3 - 1 to 50 members. Category 4 - 51 plus members. 8. Use of any automated system to submit votes is prohibited and will result automatically in the voiding of all votes made by such participant. 9. Listeners from May 20TH 2019 will have the opportunity to vote for their favourite community group to win, with voting closing on May 31st, 2019 and winners announced th Tuesday June 4 2​ 019. ​ 2EC & Power FM Elgas Acts Of Kindness st nd rd 10. For categories 1,2,3 & 4 there is a 1 ,​ 2 a​ nd 3 p​ rize, with the total prize pool of $12000 to ​ ​ ​ give away: st 1 ​ prize - $1500 ​ nd 2 ​ prize - $1000 r​ d 3 ​ prize - $500 ​ 11. There will also be $500 given away to a group drawn by barrel for those groups who do not receive a top 3 finish in voting. 12. Club or community group Bank account details will be required for winners and money will be awarded to winners via bank transfer, bank transfers cannot and will not be transferred to individuals, all monies must be transferred into a bank account of the group or club, the promoter reserves the right to verify the legibility of the bank account. 13. The promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of all entries and reserves the right to disqualify any individual entrant or group of entrants for tampering with entry process, including but not limited to the utilisation of techniques designed to avoid payment of call costs or for making multiple entries that are not associated with a separate Eligible Purchase, or for submitting an entry which is not otherwise in accordance with these conditions of entry. 14. In the case that the Promoter finds evidence of tampering by the entry process or the verification process, in addition to declaring any or all entries made by the entrant invalid, the Promoter may in its complete discretion preclude that the entrant from participation in any or all future promotions of the promoter. 15. The Promoter is not liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss, or personal injury suffered or sustained during the course of accepting or using the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. 16. Each entry becomes the property of the promoter. 17. Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. 18. If for any reason this promotion is not capable of running as planned, whether caused by infection by computer virus, mobile phone failure, line drop out, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other cause beyond the control 2EC & Power FM Elgas Acts Of Kindness of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the admiration, security, fairness or integrity of the promotion, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion, (subject to any written direction given by a relevant Regulatory Authority), to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion. The Promoter is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone, telephone or computer network or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participants or any other person’s handset or computer related to or resulting from participation or sending or receiving of any communication or of any materials in this Promotion. 20. The government would require the Digital Radio rollout to extends into regional Australia, following the launch of digital radio multiplex services in Mandurah on 23 December 2019. The Prime Minister seeks to expand the digital radio services to regional Australia, surrounding regions and sub-metropolitan areas. We have proposes changes to the Broadcasting Legislation Amendment (Digital Radio) Act 2018 and Broadcasting Legislation Amendment (Digital Radio) Bill 2017 to legislate for the Digital Radio rollout to expand and maintain the digital radio services extends into regional, sub-metropolitan, remote and surrounding areas for parts of Australia. The costs of the digital radio rollout was $10.5 million, with $4 million for digital radio transmission and satellite equipment, $8 million for DAB+ and DRM carry analogue stations digitally as well as repeaters, $6 million for direct to home satellite delivery of digital radio, $2.4 million for digital radio receivers, $5.2 million for Digital Radio Mondiale exported to Australia, $1.7 million for digital radio extends into sub-metro areas, regional areas and surrounding regions, $500 million for digital radio retransmission services, $7.2 million for upgrade from ABC's domestic and international shortwave services to digital radio rollout and $13 million for relay of Australian radio services into overseas digitally.
