2004-2016 Director of Research, Cook County-Loyola-Provident Family Medicine Residency Program 36 Family Medicine residents per year (12 per class) With my colleague, the residency co-ordinator, developed a 3-year longitudinal curriculum to meet the ACGME requirement for scholarship within the residency program. Each resident is required to become a certified investigator at either or both Loyola & Cook County, design a research project, develop a protocol, write a proposal, conduct the research, and present their projects at an annual research day. Since 2007, 35 residents with the best projects have made presentations at national meetings, primarily the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine. One resident won top prize for research-in-progress at STFM in 2009 and two residents won awards for their projects in 2007 at the University of Illinois at Chicago resident research competition.

2014-present Developer of Curriculum, Master’s of Public Health Program Developed and implemented three full MPH courses, with annual modifications and updates: Epidemiology of Obesity, Global Health Epidemiology and Grant Writing.
