SEPTEMBER CLUB DINNER WILL BE ON WEDNESDAY THE 18TH AT LITCHKOI MATRIOCHKA RUSSIAN RESTAURANT – Michel de Goumois and Al Serrato organize these monthly dinner get togethers so that their fellow Expats have an opportunity for enjoying good food and conversation together. All are welcome to join in. For September, they have come up with a great Russian Restaurant. Michel notes that this restaurant provides an excellent introduction to Russian cuisine at reasonable prices and is well frequented by both Russian and non Russian customers. Al says the salmon in cream sauce is the best salmon dish he has had in Pattaya. The dinner will start at the usual time of 7pm. The Restaurant is located on Soi Chayapreuk a very short distance from Sukhumvit Road. It is the second restaurant after the Family Mart at the Sukhumvit/Chayapreuk intersection (the first being a Vietnamese/Hong Kong noodle shop) with the third on that side of Soi Chayapreuk being the Mimosa Italian Restaurant and then Coco’s Bistro. The restaurant sign is in Cyrillic characters, but you can’t miss it. We will have a map in the Club’s website announcements next week. Please put your name on the signup sheet at Sunday’s meeting so Michel can let the restaurant know about how many to prepare for – if you can’t make the meeting to sign up, you can email us at least 24 hours in advance at [email protected] and we will advise Michel & Al to put your name on the signup sheet.
