We have many good players, however... Next to excellence on the court, nowadays a significant role in reaching the pinnacle of sport is played by the sportsman’s personality. The road to achievements starts with the initiative to prepare the training bag, understanding about sportsmanship, the trainer’s personal example at the court and everyday situations. Strong personalities whose first steps in basketball arena will lead to the podium or the highest success in other life areas – it is the most significant task of the Latvian Basketball Association for the next four years.
