Project 237374 File AEIS Appendix E2 Threatening processes for conservation significant species.docx 24 September 2019 Revision 2 Page 2 Threatening processes for conservation significant and migratory species and Threatened Ecological Communities

Threatening processes which may lead to the progressive loss of conservation significant or migratory species, including ecologically significant habitat, or Threatened Ecological Communities have been assessed with regards to the potential Project impacts. Threatening processes for conservation significant and migratory species and Threatened Ecological Communities which have been confirmed to occur, or are considered to have a high or moderate likelihood of occurrence within the Project impact areas (refer Project EIS Appendix I1 (Appendix B)), have been identified from the relevant species recovery plan, conservation listing advice and/or threat abatement plan. The potential Project impacts which have been provided in the Project EIS (Chapter 9 (nature conservation)) and AEIS (Chapter 9 (nature conservation)) have been assessed with regard to their potential contribution to the species threatening processes (refer Table 1). Potential Project impacts which will have a very high or high level of consequence on a value having a very high or high sensitivity rating are considered to have a residual impact on the species due to the level of impact consequence post implementation of mitigation measures. Species and Threatened Ecological Communities for which potential Project impacts are considered to have a residual impact on a threatening process which may lead to the progressive loss of the species or ecologically significant habitat (refer Table 1) will be subject a significant residual adverse impact assessment. The significant residual adverse impact assessment is provided in the corresponding values impact assessment section (i.e. Project EIS (Chapter 9 (nature conservation)) and AEIS (Chapter 9 (nature conservation)).
