Scorpions Scorpions - The Crazy World Tour! 2017-06-08 10:43 CEST Scorpions "The Crazy World Tour" till Scandinavium! Fredagen den 24 november intar legendariska Scorpions Scandinavium i Göteborg med sin ”The Crazy World Tour”! Detta blir deras första turné i Norden på väldigt många år och ryktet säger att scenshowen är större och bättre än någonsin. Mer än 50 år har gått sedan den tid då de unga Klaus Meine, Rudolf Schenker och Matthias Jabs gick på gatorna i Hannover, som just hade vaknat ur efterkrigstidens förlamning, med en skottkärra fylld med sina instrument och förstärkare. Sedan dess har Scorpions kommit att bli Tysklands, eller snarare en av Europas mest framgångsrika rockband genom tiderna. Otaliga band inklusive Smashing Pumpkins, Green Day, Korn och System of a Down har gjort coverversioner av Scorpions låtar genom åren. "Rock You Like A Hurricane" har tolkats över 150 gånger av olika artister. De grundades i Hannover, Västtyskland 1965. Scorpions blev en del del av den första metal-vågen på 70-talet med sitt debutalbum "Lonesome Crow" från 1972. Bandet nådde sedan arenanivå med de legendariska albumen "Love Drive", "Virgin Killer" och "Animal Magnetism". På 1980-talet släppte Scorpions en rad Billboard-ettor med "Love at First Sting" och "Blackout", inklusive flera Topp-10-singlar med "Rock You Like a Hurricane" och "No One Like You" samt ett antal framgångsrika singlar såsom ”Send Me an Angel”, " Still Loving You" och sist men inte minst "Wind of Change". Det ikoniska rockbandet har sålt över 100 miljoner album världen över och fått en uppsjö priser och utmärkelser. I februari 2015 släpptes Scorpions 19: e studioalbum, "Return To Forever", samma år bandet firade 50-årsjubileum. Som om detta inte vore nog är Scorpions trummis ingen mindre än vår egen, och före detta Motörhead-trummisen, Mikkey Dee! I morgon avslutar de Sweden Rock på stora scen och nu är det alltså klart att de återvänder till Sverige för två arenakonserter i november. Mer info om Scorpions kan du läsa här. The urge is directed by the belief that Technology in Popular Music acquiring another instrument will make one a better player. This book pioneers research into the complex phenomenon named GAS from a variety of disciplines, including popular music studies and music technology, cultural and leisure studies, consumption research, sociology, psychology and psychiatry.
