Because of technology today, we expect kids to stay in touch with us too much. I think that’s unnatural. We really do have to give kids their freedom and allow them to go off and become adults. I had to recognize my clinging and stop it. Your son, Justin, lives a quiet life in Montana, where you also spend much of your time. Your daughters, Rainey and Margaret, are, like you, actresses and models. What advice do you give them?
