Glengarnock The area within a line beginning at the boundary of the Parishes of Dairy and Kilbirnie on the north side of the railway bridge at Kilbirnie Station on the Glasgow and South Western Railway as shown on the Ordnance Survey Map of the Parish of Kilbirnie (2nd Edition 1897), but now known as Glen- garnock Station on that Railway, thence along the public highway ma, Main Street Glengarnock, Kirkland Bridge St. Birinies Church, Holrnhead, to Holnihead Bridge, thence across said Bridge and again along the Public Highway via Paddockholm, Knoxville, Riverside Mill Road, Bridgend, and ;• Stonyholm Road- to-the boundary of1-the Parish at Mauch Bridge, thence south west along .the boundary line which divides the Parish of Kilbirnie and the Parishes of Lochwinnoch and Beith to the point of starting, all within the Parish of Kilbirnie and County of Ayr. The remainder of the Parish of Kilbirnie. - Stevenston and The area embraced by a line commencing at a point where the southern Ardrossan South boundary of the Lanarkshire and Ayrshire -Railway intersects the eastern boundary of the Burgh of Saltcoats ; . thence, .proceeding in a southerly direction along the said Burgh boundary for a distance of 1500 feet or there- by to the low water mark of ordinary spring tides.; thence in a south easterly direction following the bends along said low water mark, a distance of about 17,000 feet or thereby to the mouth of the Irvine Bar ; thence in a north easterly direction along the centre of the River Irvine for a distance of - 2500 feet or thereby to the mouth of the River Garnock ; thence along the centre of the said River Garnock following the bends for a distance of about 14.000 feet or thereby ; thence in a southerly direction following the bends, along the. boundary of the parish of Stevenston and Ardrossan, a distance of about 1000 feet or thereby, and thence in a northern direction following the bends of the said parish boundary, a distance of about 2500 feet or thereby, to a point where the said boundary is intersected by the Glasgow and South Western Railway at a point 500 feet or thereby north of the said River Garnock ; thence in a'westerly direction along the said parish bound- ary following the bends about 5500 feet or thereby .to a point where the said Parish boundary is intersected by the Kilwinning and Ardrossan Branch of the Glasgow and South Western Railway, thence along the southern boundary of the said branch of the said Glasgow and South Western Railway for a distance of about 4500 feet or thereby, to a point where the said Railway intersects the said Lanarkshire and Ayrshire Railway, and thence in a western direction along the southern boundary of the said Lanarkshire and Ayrshire Railway-a distance of about 6000 feet, or thereby, to the said'point where the said Lanarkshire and Ayrshire Railway intersects the said eastern boundary of the Burgh of Saltcoats.
