The service is a purpose-built house in the Easterhouse area of Glasgow. It is registered to accommodate eight young people and, at the time of inspection, was fully occupied. The service has a staffing atior of three staff on shift for a maximum of eight young people and is operated by Glasgow City Council. We did note during this inspection that the service has had some challenges this year, particularly in relation to staffing, and this has had some impact on service delivery. This will be reflected in the eport.r What people told us We spoke with three young people during the inspection. They all indicated they were satisfied with the level of care they received. Comments included: "I have no problems here". "It's ok". "It's alright, not as bad as people say". We spoke with one relative of a young person. They advised they felt staff were approachable and communication with them was good. Self assessment The service had not been asked to complete a self assessment prior to the inspection. We looked at their own improvement plan and quality assurance paperwork in order to assess how they monitored service provision. From this inspection we graded this service as: Quality of care and support 3 - Adequate Quality of environment 4 - Good Quality of staffing 4 - Good Quality of management and leadership 2 - Weak Quality of care and support Inspection report for Wellhouse RCU page 2 of 10 Inspection report Findings from the inspection We found that most young people had positive relationships with staff, and observed warm interactions within the house.
