City Council Adjourned Proceedings OFFICIAL PROCEEDINGS MINNEAPOLIS CITY COUNCIL ADJOURNED MEETING OF DECEMBER 2, 2020 (FROM THE REGULAR MEETING OF NOVEMBER 13, 2020) (Published December 8, 2020, in Finance and Commerce) CALL TO ORDER Council President Bender called the meeting to order at 6:05 p.m., a quorum being present. Pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Section 13D.021, the meeting was held by electronic means and Council Members participated remotely due to the local public health emergency (novel coronavirus pandemic) declared on March 16, 2020. Present - Council Members Kevin Reich, Cam Gordon, Steve Fletcher, Phillipe Cunningham, Jeremiah Ellison, Jamal Osman, Lisa Goodman, Andrea Jenkins, Alondra Cano, Lisa Bender, Jeremy Schroeder, Andrew Johnson, Linea Palmisano. Jenkins moved to adopt the agenda. On roll call, the result was: Ayes: Reich, Gordon, Fletcher, Cunningham, Ellison, Osman, Goodman, Jenkins, Cano, Bender, Schroeder, Johnson, Palmisano (13) Noes: (0) Absent: (0) Adopted. PUBLIC HEARING Micah Intermill, Budget Director, presented an overview of the Mayor’s Recommended 2021 budget. Without objection, the City Clerk was directed to incorporate public comments received in connection with and included as part of the Neighborhoods 2020 Plan, as set forth in Legislative File No. 2020-01060, as part of the public testimony associated with the 2021 City Budget. A public hearing was held to receive comments on the proposed 2021 budget and tax levy, the Fiscal Year 2021 Consolidated Plan, and proposed water and sewer rates. A complete copy of the speakers list is available for public inspection contained in Legislative File No. 2020-01183 on file in the Office of City Clerk.
