An EB-5 visa applicant who invests $900,000 to $1,800,000 depending on the project (plus an administration fee along with separate legal fees and USCIS fees) in a targeted employment area can attain their permanent residency green card for themselves, their spouse, and their children under 21. Qualifying “investments” must result in the creation of 10 full-time jobs for U.S. workers. Some of the most popular immigration investment programs in the United States are located in the New York Metro area, San Francisco, Philadelphia and Southern Florida. Currently How EB-5 Investment Works INVEST CREATE RECEIVE $900K to $1.8M 10 Jobs Green Card In a qualified11 project +=Create 10 jobs in Obtain U.S. permanent (plus Admin fees, 2 years through resident status or Attorney fees, your investment in a “green card” and USCIS fees) NRIA Real Estate The most secure type of investment an EB-5 visa applicant can invest in is a real estate development that is “certified” by an economist to create 10 U.S. jobs per investment. All NRIA projects are economist certified to meet this job creation requirement. When the investor’s initial application is approved, the investor can stay in the U.S. and apply for conditional residence. The conditional residence lasts two years. After two years, the investor can apply to have the conditions removed and have the conditional residency made permanent, but only if the investment has resulted in the creation of a minimum of 10 jobs, as required, which NRIA projects do. NRIA NATIONAL REALTY INVESTMENT ADVISORS www.nriaeb5.net 2 EB-5 Visa Program © National Realty Investment Advisors The EB-5 Process If you are investing in one of NRIA’s projects, here is a summary of the EB-5 process and what EB-5 investors need to have to get an EB-5 Visa: • You need a minimum of $900,000 available to invest plus administration fees ($50,000), attorney fees and USCIS fees in U.S. currency verified available to invest. You may secure your spot with $200,000 down and a promissory note against Real Estate. • The investor must verify the investment and prove that the investment capital came from a lawful source. • Discounts may be available when you speak with us directly to discuss your case. • There is a waiting period to receive your I-526 approval and 2 year conditional green card. This varies by your country of origin. Your 2 year green card is then followed through with a 10 year permanent card during which time you are eligible to become a US citizen. Also, if you are here on an H1B, you may renew and stay during your wait. Your recommended EB-5 attorney will customize this timeline and process with you once all required documentation is reviewed. • It is required that you pass a standard government background check for criminal, political or financial activities. What EB-5 investors need to do to invest in our EB-5 projects for EB-5 Visas: • Set-up an initial consultation with NRIA EB-5 to discuss your case. • Submit your financial overview information to NRIA EB-5 to determine your EB-5 qualifications. • Contact and schedule a conference call with your recommended EB-5 attorney. • Hire your EB-5 immigration attorney and submit actual documents. • Request and read your EB-5 project documents. Ask us any necessary questions. • Sign the EB-5 project subscription documents. • Transfer the $900,000 to $1,800,000 plus required fees into an escrow account where the funds are held safely by a third party. • Prepare a source of funds report. • File your I-526 petition through your recommended immigration attorney.
