SL Benfica begin another UEFA Champions League campaign against a FC Zenit side who have a Portuguese at the helm and three former Benfica players. Previous meetings • Benfica beat Zenit 4-3 on aggregate in the 2011/12 UEFA Champions League round of 16, a 2-0 home win overturning a 3-2 away defeat.
