Fall 2009 Women’s College Forum Held in Atlanta In September the Atlanta Smith College Club sponsored a successful forum on women’s colleges at Pace Academy. Admissions representatives and young alumnae from eight women’s colleges, including Smith, spoke to 63 high school students and numerous parents. Students came from public and private schools throughout the metropolitan Atlanta area, including City of Atlanta Public Schools (Carver and Grady), Cobb County Public Schools (Hillgrove), DeKalb County Public Schools (Chamblee, Columbia, DeKalb School for the Arts and Druid Hills), Douglas County Public Schools (Douglas), Fulton County Public Schools (Langston Hughes, North Springs Charter and Westlake), Henry County (Eagle’s Landing High School), Atlanta Girls’ School, Jill Huynh, Smith admissions rep; Elizabeth Kiss, President of Agnes Scott College; and Mary Hinkel.
