Information for users - get started with Telenor

University of Gothenburg are changing solution for services with Telenor. We would like to give you some tips to make your change as smooth as possible.

The change means that your existing mobile number will be transferred to the new solution, but you continue to use the same SIM card that you previously used.

Date of commissioning

On March 22, your new phone will be operational for MEX. You are currently a existing Telenor users and continue to use your old SIM card, some services will be replaced during the commissioning date.

What happens

Porting of landline number series 031-7869000 - 9999 will take place on 21/3 at. 16.00. Mobile Extension service is put on all subscriptions in the morning on 22/3. Services will be laid on afterwards, so full functionality will be available only when the green light is given from Telenor.

The day before the change

• The old mailbox must bebugged (messages can not be moved). You will after migration, use your voice mail that is integrated in the PBX.

• Ensure that the user has "show my number" enabled in the mobile, secret codes may not be used.

Commissioning Day

• Create a user and log in to "My Pages" if you want more information regarding your specific subscription. http://www.telenor.se/minasidor

• If you have any questions about your subscription or need help getting started new services you reach Telenor Customer Service at 020-222 222 and from your Telenor Mobil, call 222.

• During the commissioning day March 22 we add additional services to your subscriptions. Expect therefore disruptions during the day and wait any error reports to the deployment is complete.

• NOTE! For all Telenor Specific speed dials, you have a * before you call, when you are logged in MEX.

If you find yourself abroad when this work is done you do not have to do anything. When you get back to Sweden and network the service will be functioning, otherwise it will be treated as an error and should be reported

Description of Services MEX

All calls in a MEX-solution is controlled via the PBX, excluded are certain social numbers (112, 11414, 11717 etc). If direct connections or system board in PBX would suffer from a disorder, you can log off from MEX functionality in Telenor's network.

Note that A-number (caller ID) is changed to the mobile number when you log off and calls are no longer via the PBX, call charging is done on subscription level instead, do not forget to log in again.

To make this log off dial: * 325 and follow the instructions in the IVR

Would you then log in again to turn it: 325 and follow the instructions in the IVR.

When reference is made the fixed number will be closed, mobile number remains open. Since outgoing calls from the mobile phone is controlled via the PBX the operator has control of outgoing calls from your mobile.
