We are T proud of our graduates and thank you for helping us celebrate this special occasion. We are honored that the Class of 2021 followed in the footsteps of more than 27,000 University of Washington Bothell alumni in entrusting their higher education to our faculty and staff. We take the responsibility seriously to provide an inclusive internationally and nationally ranked university experience that prepares our students to be creative thinkers, researchers, workplace innovators and civic leaders. Our curriculum emphasizes discovery and innovation through close student-faculty interaction, collaboration among students, and hands-on learning. At UW Bothell, our students earn an acclaimed University of Washington degree while building solid foundations of relevant knowledge, practical skills, and professional preparation. They engage our community as partners in education and research and develop collaborative solutions to the most pressing problems facing our region and the world today. Every student who decides that the UW Bothell experience is right for them is valued for the experience they bring and the contributions they make. The vast majority are local and stay local. Nine out of 10 of our students are from the state of Washington and remain after attaining their degree. Our graduates are leading change across industries and in the community, all of which directly contribute to our regional economy and enrich our community.
