[email protected] GHOST HOUSE LAUNCHES MOBILE SERVICE COMPANY TO PROVIDE INNOVATIVE FILM FEATURES TO U.K. MOBILE PHONE USERS Los Angeles, CA (October 31, 2005) – Ghost House Pictures announced today that it plans to put some more fright into its horror fans’ Halloween this year by utilizing innovative mobile technology to launch its Ghost House Mobile service on October 31st in the U.K. The service will be offering unique horror based programming, mini-featurettes, scares and tricks amidst traditional mobile functions such as horror specific wallpaper, ringtones and special text messaging. In addition, the company will be offering behind-the-scenes footage of upcoming Ghost House Pictures films, as well as several special interactive features, to mobile phone users in the U.K. The company, a joint venture between Mandate Pictures, Sam Raimi and Rob Tapert that has produced some of the most successful of recent horror films including The Grudge and Boogeyman, will offer movie lovers the opportunity to experience content on their mobile phones in new and unexpected ways, and will create an interactive one-on-one connection between Ghost House filmmakers and the horror fan community. The service, which will launch in the U.K. with PA3 as Ghost House’s mobile partner, will offer fans a number of features, including access to classic horror images and ringtones; original Boogeyman artwork; the opportunity to win exclusive movie memorabilia including copies of the Evil Dead poster signed by director Raimi; and behind-the-scenes footage highlighting two of Ghost House’s upcoming releases— Sebastian Gutierrez’s Rise starring Lucy Liu and Michael Chiklis, and The Messengers, the Pang Brothers’ English-language debut starring John Corbett, Dylan McDermott and Kristen Stewart.
