Bids for the Braves Auction BACK COVER BIDS FOR THE BRAVES AUCTION PRESENTED BY 2015 “Bids for the Braves” Auction Rules 1. Everyone attending and assigned a bidding number is eligible to bid in the Live and Silent Auction. 2. The Silent Auction will begin at 5:00 p.m. We will be utilizing mobile bidding this year. If you do not have a smart device a bidder buddy will be available to assist you. 3. Any bids not reaching the minimum bid increment will be deemed invalid and given to the previous bidder. 4. The Live Auction bidding will begin at approximately 7:10 p.m., and will continue until all items are sold. 5. Because of the detailed work that must be accomplished by our staff following the Silent Auction, cashiering will not begin until approximately 9:15 p.m. and will continue through the completion of the event. Thank you for your understanding and patience. If you are using Express Pay, there is no need to check out. A receipt of your transactions will be mailed to you. 6. Winning bidder is responsible for gathering their merchandise from the tables. Certificate items will be delivered to you. 7. FULL PAYMENT IS REQUIRED ON SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 26 AND CAN BE MADE WITH CASH, CHECK, VISA, MASTERCARD, DISCOVER OR AMERICAN EXPRESS. 8. All sales are final. Absolutely no exchanges or refunds will be given. 9. Dollar values placed on items being auctioned are estimates of retail value, and the Braves Club does not offer a warranty for any other purposes. 10. Donors and/or purchasers of auction items or services should consult their own tax advisors regarding any questions concerning the possibility of tax deductibility. 11. The “Bids for the Braves” Executive Committee reserves the right to change, add or remove from either the Live Auction or Silent Auction any item it deems appropriate even though the item may have been previously advertised, listed in the auction printed program or verbally indicated as being offered for auction. 12. All certificate items for goods and/or services must be negotiated with the donor for redemption within thirty (30) days of purchase, unless otherwise specified. 13. All Silent Auction items must be removed from the Renaissance Coliseum by the end of the evening, September 26, 2015. 14. Any Live Auction item that cannot be transported by the owner on Saturday evening, September 26, 2015 will be available for pick-up from Tuesday, September 29 through Friday, October 2, 2015 from the Braves Club Office. All items not picked up by October 2 will become the property of the Bradley Braves Club. 15. IMPORTANT NOTE: Total description and/or restrictions on some Live and Silent Auction items may not be completely outlined in your “Bids for the Braves” booklet. Please read the description and/or restriction information on each Silent Auction bid form and on any certificates which you may purchase. 16. Any sale or bid in dispute will be resolved by the Braves Club Membership and Events Coordinator.
