Majority Pakistanis do not personally know their area’s post- man.

According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup Pakistan, 38% Paki- “ stanis said they or someone from their household personally know the area’s post man; 61% Pakistanis do not.

A nationally representative sample of adult men and women, from across the four provinc- es was asked, “Please tell us, do you or anyone from your household personally know your area’s post man?” In response to this question, 38% respondents said they or someone from their household know their area’s postman personally. On the other hand, 61% re- spondents said that neither they nor anyone from their household personally know the ar- ea’s post man, while 1% did not respond.

The study was released by Gilani Research Foundation and carried out by Gallup Pakistan, the Pakistani affiliate of Gallup International. The recent survey was carried out among a

According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey“ carried out by Gallup Pakistan, 19% Pakistanis considered Faisal Qureshi’s performance in Bashar Momin as the best; 15% named Hamza Ali Abbasi.

A nationally representative sample of adult men and women, from across the four provinces was asked, “Regarding these actors’ performances in the following dramas, please tell us which Pakistani male actor’s performance do you consider the best?” In response, 19% respondents said they considered Faisal Qureshi’s performance in Ba- shar Momin as the best, 15% named Hamza Ali Abbasi in Pyaray Afzal, 10% named in Be-imaan Muhabbat, and 10% named Adeel Hussain in Sukh. ’s performance in Mausam was considered the best by 8% respondents, 4% con- sidered Ali Rehman (Muhabbat Ab Nahi Hogi) as the best performer, 4% thought Adnan Siddiqui (Meray Humdum Meray Dost) was the best performer, while 2% named Sami Khan (Bashar Momin) and 1% named Sohail Sameer (Pehchan). 27% of the respondents either considered none of these performances the best, or did not know them.

More than half Pakistanis feel very unsafe after the Peshawar tragedy.

According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey“ carried out by Gallup Pakistan, 59% Pakistanis said they feel very unsafe after the Peshawar tragedy; 7% Pakistanis don’t feel unsafe at all.

A nationally representative sample of adult men and women, from across the four provinces was asked, “May Allah keep you and everyone from your household safe and secure. After the Peshawar tragedy, how unsafe do you feel you and members of your household are?” In response to this question, 59% respondents said they feel very unsafe, while 34% respondents said they feel somewhat unsafe and 7% don’t feel unsafe at all.

According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey“ carried out by Gallup Pakistan, 95% Pakistanis agree that convicted terrorists should be given the death penalty; only 4% Pakistanis disagree.

A nationally representative sample of adult men and women, from across the four prov- inces was asked, “Please tell us, to what extent do you agree or disagree with the fol- lowing sentence: ‘Convicted terrorists should be given the death penalty’?” In response to this question, 81% respondents said they agree with this statement a lot, 14% re- spondents said they agree with this statement, while 4% respondents disagree with the statement and 1% did not respond.
