Directions Upon entering Mawnan Smith with Alanco garage on your left, proceed down the hill until you reach the Spar shop and post office on the right hand side - before you get to the pub. Turn left at the post office into Road. Go down this road for approx. 1/3 mile until you come to a red brick house on the right at a junction with Carlidnack Lane. Go down Carlidnack Lane to the very end when you will see a public footpath sign. You will think you can go no further, but you can! Follow the public footpath sign which is far wider than it appears and well surfaced (and is suitable for vehicles until just past the entrance to Glen Mawnan where it does turn into a proper footpath). Glen Mawnan will be found at the bottom of the hill on the left, the entrance marked by a 5 bar wooden gate. Follow the drive for several hundred yards uphill until you reach the house and parking area.
