He had a heart attack and almost died last year but survived solely so he could direct his magnum opus, Jay and Silent Bob Reboot. A polygamist, he’s married to both his wife Jen and podcasting. JASON MEWES (Jay) Jason Mewes most recently made his directorial debut on MADNESS IN THE METHOD, which was released in August 2019. With cult-fans following his controversial antics, Mewes has captured audiences with his rebellious banter against his unspoken other half and longtime friend, Kevin Smith. Since the beginning of the duo’s offbeat work together, Mewes and Smith have continued to build on their beloved character-driven roles from the Jay and Silent Bob series. It’s been over a decade since fans last saw the duo in live- action, but they’re back along with a star-studded cast in the upcoming comedy film, JAY AND SILENT BOB REBOOT. In addition, he can be seen touring comedy clubs across the country with his solo show “A-Mewes-ing Stories,” where he shares stories about his life and encounters over the years. The California based actress has most recently been seen in a featured role in Quentin Tarantino’s blockbuster hit Once Upon A Time In Hollywood, in the role of ‘Froggie’ – a hippie in the Manson family who is featured alongside Lena Dunham, Dakota Fanning and Brad Pitt. The young starlet will next be appearing as the female lead, ‘Milly’, in the newest film by her father and famed actor/director, Kevin Smith; Jay and Silent Bob Reboot. The movie is set to release nationwide October 2019. Additionally, she recently finished filming a role in the feminist coming-of-age horror film, Student Body. Born into show-business and almost immediately thrown into her father’s movie Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back; Harley has been showcasing her natural talent for the big screen since the age of 1. This infant indignity was further included in her familial cult-classic projects on films such as Jersey Girl and Clerks II, however, it was her role in Tusk that would ignite Harley’s passion for performance. Acting opposite longtime friend, Lily Rose Depp, as a pair of Canadian convenience store clerks, the pair’s natural chemistry and authentic delivery birthed an entire spin-off feature entitled Yoga Hosers, which debuted at the 2016 Sundance Film Festival. The film was released in September 2016 and also stars Johnny Depp, Justin Long, Tyler Posey, Tony Hale and Natasha Lyonne. In early 2 2019 she appeared in All These Small Moments opposite veteran actress Molly Ringwald. The film made its debut at the 2018 Tribeca Film Festival where Harley was noted by W Magazine as one of six “breakout stars” from the festival’s showings. Outside of acting, Harley Quinn has a passion for giving back. While named after the infamous comic supervillain “Harley Quinn”, HQS is nothing short of a hero when it comes to using her platform to generate change for both people and animals. The young, Vegan advocate has spoken out against anti-bullying and works with The Humane Society of the United States among other animal organizations. She and her father appeared as the Spring 2019 cover of Mercy For Animals “Conscious Living” Magazine cover discussing their individual journeys in veganism. In May 2018 she used her voice alongside Maggie Q and Katie Cleary and the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine to lobby congress for the Cruelty Free Cosmetics Act at the capitol in Sacramento (the bill passed and is on its way to a vote with the Assembly). Smith resides in Los Angeles with the love of her life – Cinnamon Bun (her rabbit). At the same time, there is a lack of realistic benchmarks that comprehen- sively measure this ability, which makes it challenging to find and evaluate im- provements. We introduce a novel method to systematically construct such bench- marks by maximizing compound divergence while guaranteeing a small atom di- vergence between train and test sets, and we quantitatively compare this method to other approaches for creating compositional generalization benchmarks. We present a large and realistic natural language question answering dataset that is constructed according to this method, and we use it to analyze the compositional generalization ability of three machine learning architectures. We find that they fail to generalize compositionally and that there is a surprisingly strong nega- tive correlation between compound divergence and accuracy. We also demonstrate how our method can be used to create new compositionality benchmarks on top of the existing SCAN dataset, which confirms these findings. 1 INTRODUCTION Human intelligence exhibits systematic compositionality (Fodor & Pylyshyn, 1988), the capacity to understand and produce a potentially infinite number of novel combinations of known components, i.e., to make “infinite use of finite means” (Chomsky, 1965).
