Elisabeth Bruyère Award Dinner

This year’s Elisabeth Bruyère Award was presented to Monique (Marchand) Letendre ’64. Monique was recognized for her selfless contributions to the students and families of Ste Jeanne d’Arc School for the past thirty-two years, her commitment to the Franco American community of Lowell, and her emulation of the characteristics of Elisabeth Bruyère . Elisabeth Bruyère is the foundress of the Sisters of Charity of Ottawa whose members have been staffing and administering Ste Jeanne d’Arc School since 1910. She was the model of prayer, trust in God, courage, daring, compassion, openness and availability. The event took place at Lenzi’s in Dracut. There were about one hundred-fifty friends, family, staff, former teachers and community members there to honor Monique. Our Master of Ceremonies for the evening was Atty. Steven Panagiotakos. Monique's brother and former Board of Photo: Monique Letendre ’64 , Sister Préscille Malo and Trustees Chairman, Henri Marchand ’67.
