November Newsletter (New) November pph 324/10/2012 (031059) - 117/19 November was yet another smashing month for Centre Point Sabah, with the opening of several new kiosks at Food Eden (5th Floor), exciting events, and of course, a ton of shopping sales & promotions! In addition to this, Centre Point Sabah is truly delighted to welcome the new kiosks opening here in the mall - Belacan Corner (Lot A4-6, 5th Floor, Food Eden), Aneka Rasa (Lot A4-7, 5th Floor, Food Eden) and U-Mobile (Lo1 1FC, 1st Floor). The Annual Blood Donation Campaign was a great kickstart for November in Centre Point Sabah. Most importantly, the management would like to express our sincere gratitude and thanks to all patrons for making the Annual Blood Donation campaign a success. This year, we manage to achieve 1,341 blood pints! The blood pints will be allocated to Queen Elizabeth Hospital I, Queen Elizabeth Hospital II, Hospital Kanak- Kanak dan Wanita Likas, Hospital Keningau and Hospital Beaufort, which will help to reduce the shortage of blood bank. Moreover, holiday season is coming soon! Be anticipated with many upcoming events that will be happening this December, such as Whimsical Craft Workshop, Aids Charity Concert, Sabah League Mobile Legends Finals, Wishlist to Santa, Mall Wide Lucky Draw and 25th Special with KK12fm. Parents and children are welcome to join our family-friendly holiday event of the year! The management is organizing annual New Year’s Eve Countdown Party as we are enter- ing the year of 2020 that embarks the 30th anniversary of the mall. Special invitations will be distributed to tenants/shop lot owners and we hope you can celebrate with us this memorable countdown party. Get ready to be amazed with our special circus show performance during the party. Good news, retailers can feel good about this holiday shopping season! Even with the antic- ipated growth in online sales, predictions based on some consumer surveys all seem to be saying the same thing: shoppers want the person-to-person, in-store experience. Therefore, crowds will be expected to do their Christmas shopping in December. The management is pleased to advise all tenants and owners to be ready for any sales and promotions. We hope to keep the excitement going as December guarantees to be just as eventful as the previous months, packed with activ- ities and exciting events. Besides, the management urges every patron to pay close attention to the usage of the emergency exit staircases. All the emergency exit staircases inside the mall are only to be used for any emergency cases, such as a fire escape. Please be mindful that entering the emergency staircases can only exit on the ground floor. If you need immediate assistance, please contact our 24-hour Security Hotline at 088-538100. Annual Blood Donation Campaign 2019 -9th November - “It’s a wrap with a final record of 1,341 pints of blood!” as the emcee announced the total number of blood donors at 9.30 pm. Every year, Centre Point Sabah organizes blood donation campaign in order to support a good cause in assisting the blood bank of various hospitals to cater to the shortage of blood. The objective of the blood donation campaign is to propagate the significance of blood donation in saving lives and to generate awareness about the need to prevent thalassaemia major. This event has garnered involvement from all respective parties including 18 co-organizers namely Lions Club of KK Mandarin, Malaysia Red Crescent Penampang District, Lions Club of Kota Kinabalu Centennial, Lions Club of KK Sutera, Lions Club of Tanjung Aru, KK High School Ex-Students Association, Federation of Sabah Chinese Women Association, Sabah Tourist Guides Association, Persatuan Kebajikan Cina Sabah and Che Hor Khor Moral Uplifting Society Penampang. The event is fully supported and assisted by medical professionals from Queen Elizabeth Hospi- tal I, Queen Elizabeth Hospital II, Hospital Kanak-Kanak dan Wanita Likas, Hospital Keningau and Hospital Beaufort. Special care was taken to ensure that the blood collection process was conducted under expert supervision and hy- gienic conditions. What makes this event apart from the other blood donation drive is that every successful blood donor is eli- gible to earn a bagful of goodies items sponsored by over 60 sponsors, refreshments such as drinks from Indocafe, Vico, McDonald, yoghurt, tuna sandwiches from Ayam Brands and ice cream from All Master Express Sdn Bhd. Be- sides, they also stand a chance to win the lucky draw prizes where the grand prizes are including iPhone 11, iPhone XR, Huawei Y7, Huawei Y5, 2D1N stay packages, beauty and massage vouchers, supermarket cash vouchers and more. The good news is every blood donor won’t go home empty-handed! Even though the focal point is to raise awareness in donating blood to the needed, the overall blood donation drive also motivates the public to donate blood more regularly and look forward to the annual drive. 3rd MVB Invitational Taekwondo (WT) Championship 2019 - 21st until 24th November - “We didn’t expect to receive over 700 participants for this championship,” said the committee member of MBV Club as he was intrigued by the overwhelming participation for the 3rd MVB Invitational Taekwondo (WT) Championship 2019 from different districts and states.
