OREGON STATE, STANFORD, UCLA and UTAH earned spots in the competition. In addi- tion, three individuals from Pac-12 teams will compete in speci!c events. Pac-12 Champion UCLA posted the highest score at regionals of any Conference team and was the second-highest in the country, coming in !rst place at Fayetteville. The Utes posted a 196.825 at the Salt Lake City Regional, coming in second. The Beavers were second at the Auburn Regional with a 196.450 and Stanford was second at the Champaign Regional with a score of 196.675. Qualifying for the national competition in the all-around are ARIZONA’s Aubree Cristello (39.250 at the Seattle Regional) and WASH- INGTON’s Aliza Vaccher (39.225 at the Seattle Regional). Wildcat teammate Katie Matusik posted a 9.900 on the balance beam in Seattle and quali!ed on the event for the national competition. HOW THEY QUALIFIED The women’s gymnastics championships consist of 12 teams and 12 all-around competitors (who are not on a qualifying team) and individual event specialists. The top two teams and the top two all-around competitors from each of the six regionals have advanced to the national championships. In addition, the event winners at each regional also advanced to the national championships (in their speci!c event), if they were not part of a qualifying team or an all-around quali!er. ROTATION PAIRINGS The process for determining the rotation pairings for Day 1 of the team competition at the site of the !nals is based on the National Qualifying Score (NQS), calculated by adding the Regional Qualifying Score (RQS) to the score achieved at the regional competition. Once the NQS is calculated, teams are ranked based on the NQS from 1-12. Teams 1, 4, 5, 8, 9 and 12 were placed in Group A, and teams 2, 3, 6, 7, 10 and 11 were placed in Group B. The host team and its corresponding group will compete in the second semi!nal. If there is not a host institution competing, a random drawing will be used to determine which group is placed in semi!nal one or two. ABOUT THE COMPETITION The team semi!nal and all-round competition will be conducted in two sessions on Friday, April 20 at noon and 6 p.m. ET. The top three teams from each semi!nal advance to the Super Six competition on Saturday, April 21 at 4 p.m. ET. The top four individuals in each event (including ties) from Friday’s semi!nals will compete in the individual event competition on Sunday, April 22 at 1 p.m. ET.
