Coach Trips Age UK Exeter Coach Trips Thursday 14/03 - Cheltenham £14.50 Cheltenham, in Gloucestershire, is home to the renowned Cheltenham Festival and the Gold Cup. It’s also known for Regency buildings, including the Pittville Pump Room, a remnant of Cheltenham’s past as a spa town. There’s fine art at The Wilson museum, and the Victorian Everyman Theatre has an ornate auditorium. Tuesday 02/04 - Salcombe £13.00 Salcombe is a popular resort town in the South Hams. Close to the mouth of the Kingsbridge Estuary, mostly built on the steep west side of the estuary. It lies within the South Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Wednesday 15/05 - Cardiff £14.50 A port city on the south coast of Wales, where the River Taff meets the Severn Estuary, Cardiff was proclaimed the nation’s capital in 1955. The revitalized waterfront at Cardiff Bay includes the Wales Millennium Centre, and lots of cafes, restaurants and shops at Mermaid Quay. Monday 10/06 - Weymouth £13.00 A seaside town in Dorset, Weymouth’s sandy beach is dotted with colorful beach huts and backed by Georgian houses. Jurassic Skyline, a revolving viewing tower, and Victorian Nothe Fort offer harbour views. Weymouth Sealife Park is home to sharks, turtles and stingrays. On the fossil-rich Jurassic Coast is pebbly Chesil Beach. A causeway leads to Portland Island with its lighthouse and birdlife. Friday 12/07 - Bude £13.00 There’s a lot to love about Bude. With a laidback allure all of its own, and so much to see and do, it has something for everyone. Bude has once again been named as the Best UK Coastal Town for three consecutive years. Friday 02/08 - Taunton Flower Show £18.50 Taunton Flower Show is an annual flower show held in Vivary Park. It has been described as “The Chelsea of the West”, and attracts around 17,000 visitors over its two days. The show was first held in 1831 and apart from during the Second World War, has been held every year since. Wednesday 11/09 - Trago & Dartmoor £13.00 Located in 110 acres, amidst the lovely south Devon countryside, with views over towards Dartmoor, Trago Mills is perfectly located for customers to take advantage of its unique discount shopping and leisure facilities. Then we’re off to Dartmoor for fresh air and stunning views. Wednesday 09/10 - Goosey Fair, Tavistock £13.00 Tavistock Goose Fair is the annual fair in the stannary town of Tavistock on the western edge of Dartmoor. Market traders come from all over the country to sell their wares and provide entertainment. Stalls and side shows are set up in the centre of the Town. All coaches lower for ease of boarding and have the following facilities: • Seat belts • Double glazing • Non-smoking • Meticulous maintenance • Air conditioning or climate control • On board toilet (certain coaches only) All trips depart from the three pick up points in Exeter. Co-op , Heavitree at 9.25 • Tickets must be purchased at the centre or by debit card on the telephone. We are no longer able to reserve tickets. • All trips will be available to purchase from 22 January 2019 – this will enable us to have the option of putting on an extra coach should demand be high. • Seating positions cannot be reserved; numbered tickets are for the use of the office at Age UK Exeter • Age UK Exeter and the Coach Company Powell’s take no responsibility for passengers whilst getting in and out of the coach. • Age UK Exeter and Powell’s Coach Company take no responsibility in passengers arriving late to board the coach on departure. The coach will wait for a maximum of 15 minutes before departing and will not stop to wait for latecomers. Any costs incurred in passenger having to travel back to Exeter by alternative transport will be the passenger’s responsibility and not Age UK Exeter or Powell’s Coaches. • Please ensure you have details of person to contact in emergency should you become unwell during the day – Age UK Exeter will be available during business hours only 8.30am to 17.00pm • We are sorry but we cannot accept cancellations and make no refund once tickets have been paid for. The only exception to this rule is if we have to cancel the trip due to low sale of tickets, this decision will be made two weeks before departure date of trip..
