One Step Beyond on Talking Pictures TV Broadcast from January 1959 to July 1961, One Step Beyond was hosted and directed by John Newland and, like The Twilight Zone, which began broadcasting nine months later, it focussed on other-wordly phenomena. Among its stories, the series dealt with premonition of death: The Lincoln Assassination; disaster: Tidal Wave; astral projection: The Long Call; ghosts: The Death Waltz and coincidence: Reunion.
